Dr. R.K. Pandey is a Cudworth Endowed Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of Laboratory for Electronic Materials and Device Technolgy. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Cologne, Germany. He is a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society, Senior Member of IEEE, and recipient of multiple teaching and research awards. He has published over 100 articles, is the author of three book chapters, holder of six U.S. patents and has edited two books. His current research interests include: electronic materials processing; growth and characterization of bulk single crystal and thin films; integrated structure devices; detectors and sensors; high temperature electronics; electro-optics; MEMS technology; microsystems and nanotechnology.
